It's been a great year, but home is calling me.

Living here has been really unique. The food was different, the mentalities are different, the cars, the way space is considered, the way education is handled...
Honestly I would have loved to be here a little longer, but I was really beginning to  miss Europe, and I have to be back to check in with my dissertation tutor in september. Besides, I don't think I could take the stress of being a student in the US long term. The prices are scarily high, and leaving school with that amount of debt... I don't think I could take it.

Anyway, I'm also really excited to go home, to eat french food, see my family, look for a flat in the town where I'm studying, see my friends again

I'm really going to miss my friends here though. I have met some truly awesome people. But suppose one must continue the journey.
